Returns & Exchanges

Jlamore.com now offers FREE U.S GROUND SHIPPING to the lower 48 states on all orders.

Returns and exchanges are accepted on full priced merchandise within 14 days of receipt for items that HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL tags attached. Footwear returns and exchanges must include the original shoe box in its original condition and without postal labels. Damages to or omission of this box from your return/exchange may result in a fee.  PLEASE NOTE: Shipping and handling charges (if any) are non-refundable.   

Jlamore.com will accept returns on discounted items as long as the item(s) is returned to jlamore.com within seven (7) days of receipt of the item.  Jlamore.com will not accept returns for special orders.

All returns must have the provided return label that you receive with your order affixed to the outside of the box.  This label indicates the latest date possible for the item to be returned.  Items shipped without the label or shipped past the allowed return date will be refused.

If you need to make an exchange or return, please follow the instructions you received along with your sales receipt included with your package. Securely pack and seal the return merchandise and invoice in an appropriate shipping box or envelope, and send the items(s) back to us using the above address. (This will provide you with recourse on your package, as jlamore.com cannot accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves).

Once your package has been received at jlamore.com, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within five (5) business days. You will be notified by email when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from jlamore.com.

Occasionally, when an item is returned and marked for “exchange” on the return/exchange form you received, we may not have that item available in a different size or color you requested.  We will notify you by email of your options regarding a full credit on your credit card or a store credit option good for one year.

 

 

Shipping & Handling

Jlamore.com now offers FREE U.S GROUND SHIPPING to the lower 48 states on all orders.

All orders placed Monday-Friday before 5 PM (CST) will begin processing that day, excluding holidays, and will ship that day through UPS, pending availability and credit card verification. Any "priority order" placed after 5 PM (CST) will begin processing that day, and may ship that day through either UPS or FedEx, pending availability and credit card verification.  Call us Toll Free (866) 631-3880 with any questions regarding shipping.  All orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on those days but shipped the following Monday (Holiday's excluded).

Jlamore.com will contact you with a follow-up email if, for some reason, the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional identification provided for credit verification. Jlamore.com use UPS and FedEx for delivery, and therefore are unable to deliver to APO/FPO addresses, as well as P.O. Boxes. We do not offer Saturday delivery. *DELIVERY TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, OR HOLIDAYS.

You will receive an order confirmation once your order has been successfully transmitted. In addition, a shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent once your order has been shipped. This confirmation will include the tracking number for your package.

If you decide to refuse any shipments from jlamore.com, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges (if your item(s) were shipped international) that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to jlamore.com. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. If you make special arrangements or alter the original shipping date on your own through any carrier you run the risk of being unable to return the merchandise for a full refund.

International Shipping, Costs, Methods, & Disclosure

Jlamore.com provides International shipping and the charges are based on several factors, including total price of items, the weight of the package, and its destination.  Currently, when you place and International order, the costs of shipping the item(s) are not immediately known to you.  We receive the order and will calculate the cheapest way to ship the item(s) to you through UPS International or FedEx International depending upon which country the order is going to.  The cost information is then sent to you by email for your approval before the item(s) are shipped.  (The shipping cost does not include duty charges, taxes, or import fees, etc.)

 

UPS, FedEx, and jlamore.com will provide customs-cleared delivery to more than 40 destination countries. Most shipments to Europe or Asia are delivered within 2 to 3 business days after leaving jlamore.com.

 

Risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier in your country. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from jlamore.com, you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. By placing your order with jlamore.com, you authorize us to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance (on your behalf) any duties and taxes owed by you.

 

Please know that your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. Please be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

In addition, we will provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as description, harmonize codes, and other necessary information to our international carriers, and this information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws so that you can receive the order that you placed with us.

If the order you placed with us is a gift, the package is marked as such but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.

Refused Shipments - If you decide to refuse any shipments from jlamore.com, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to jlamore.com. Sales Tax

Jlamore.com will only charge sales tax to customers who reside in the State of Wisconsin.  The current sales tax rate is 5.5%.

Gift Wrap Services

Jlamore.com will gift box your order providing you select this option at the time of purchase. Our gift box service includes a matte finished structured gift box with the item(s) wrapped in tissue inside the box with a J. LaMore sticker.  The recipient will receive a blank invoice with the return/exchange form.  Please indicate in the space provided at checkout if you want the item(s) gift wrapped.

We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties.

When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. You provide this information so we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.

We encourage you to sign-up for our e-mailing list. These letters provide you with advanced notice of store sales, new merchandise, and other store-related events. But, of course, you have the freedom to add or remove your name from our list at any time.

Online Security

Your credit card is completely safe.

Protecting your information is our highest priority. We have developed several safeguards to keep your information completely confidential. To proceed to checkout, you must enter your e-mail address and create a password. The checkout process itself employs Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)* technology to insure your safety.

*Secure Sockets Layer encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server, making it impossible for that information to be decoded by a party outside of the store you shop with.

Furthermore, only our store will have your information; other members of the Modern Retail community will not have access to your information unless you decide to shop with them.

To check the security of your connection during checkout, look for the unbroken key or closed lock at the bottom of your browser window. This indicates SSL is active.

Shopping Online

To add an item to your bag, simply click the add to bag button next to it. (Items you put in your bag will not be bought by you until you have completed the checkout process.)

To remove an item from your bag, simply click the remove link next to the item you wish to discard.

To view what is in your bag at any time, click the "shoppingBag" link in the page header.

To purchase what you've selected, click on your shoppingBag and click "checkout". Follow the three simple steps to purchase your items.

Once we have confirmed your order, an account for you is automatically established for the Modern Retail community of stores.

To access your account in the future, click the "myAccount" button in the header of any page and enter the e-mail address and password you created at checkout.  (If you have not been through checkout, but would like to create an account, simply click on my account and follow the steps to create a new account.)
